Chin filler
Chin filler adds projection, length or width to bring the chin into proportion with the rest of the profile. It is one of the most transformative treatments for a relatively modest amount of product: a recessed chin brought forward balances the nose, defines the jaw-neck angle and can even improve the appearance of the lips. A firm, structural hyaluronic acid filler is used and placed deep, close to the bone.
Jawline filler
Jawline filler restores definition along the mandible — sharpening the angle beneath the ear, straightening the line to the chin, and improving the separation between face and neck. It is often combined with treatment of the jowls, where support is placed just in front of them to blend the line. Melody assesses whether your jawline concern is truly structural or is a knock-on effect of midface volume loss, in which case cheek filler may be the better first step.

What happens on the day
After assessment of your profile from several angles, the area is marked and treated with a combination of needle and cannula technique, depending on the plan. The filler contains anaesthetic. Results are visible immediately, though swelling can temporarily exaggerate them for the first few days.
Aftercare and limitations
Expect swelling for two to five days and possible bruising; avoid pressure on the area, strenuous exercise, alcohol and heat for 48 hours. Filler adds structure but cannot remove excess skin or fat — where a heavy jawline is caused by fullness rather than lack of definition, other approaches may be discussed. How much filler does a jawline need?
More than most areas — commonly two to four syringes for a full jawline, as it is a long structure. A chin alone typically needs one to two. Melody will give you an honest estimate at consultation.
Will it look masculine?
Not unless that is the goal. The product, amount and placement are chosen to define rather than to square off; a feminine jawline can be sharpened without being made heavier.
Can filler fix a double chin?
Filler defines the jawline and can improve the jaw-neck angle, but it does not remove fat beneath the chin. Melody will tell you honestly what is achievable.
How long does it last?
Typically 12 to 18 months. Structural areas placed close to bone tend to hold well.
Is it painful?
