Terms & Conditions
The terms that govern your use of this website and your booking of treatments with us at ELM Aesthetics.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the ELM Aesthetics website (www.elmaesthetics.co.uk) and to any treatments or services you book with us at our clinic in Leeds.
By using our website or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the website or book a treatment.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or booking of treatments after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms work alongside our Privacy & Cookie Policy, which explains how we look after your personal information.

3. Using our website
The content on this website is provided for general information and to help you understand the treatments we offer. While we work hard to keep everything accurate and up to date, we don't make any guarantees that all content is complete, current or free from error.
The information on this website is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Nothing on the site should be relied on as a recommendation for treatment in your specific case — that always requires a face-to-face consultation.
We may update, change or remove parts of the website at any time without notice. We reserve the right to restrict access if needed for legal, technical or security reasons.
4. Treatments and medical information
All treatments offered at ELM Aesthetics are subject to a personal consultation and clinical assessment. During your consultation, we will:
- Discuss your goals, expectations and any concerns
- Take a relevant medical history
- Assess whether the treatment you're interested in is suitable for you
- Explain the procedure, the realistic outcomes, the risks and the aftercare
- Answer any questions before you decide whether to proceed
Every face responds differently. Results vary from person to person, and we cannot guarantee any specific outcome. Treatment plans are tailored to you, and we will always be honest about what is — and what is not — achievable.
If we believe a treatment is not in your best interest, we will say so. We reserve the right to decline treatment on clinical grounds.
5. Who we treat
Our services are for adults aged 18 and over. We may ask for photo ID at your first appointment. We do not perform aesthetic treatments on minors.
Certain treatments are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for clients with specific medical conditions. Your suitability will be assessed at consultation, and you must disclose any relevant medical information, medications, allergies or recent treatments at every appointment.
6. Booking appointments and deposits
Appointments can be booked through our website, by phone, by email, or in person at the clinic.
To secure a treatment appointment, we require a non-refundable booking deposit. This deposit is fully redeemable against the cost of your treatment on the day. The deposit confirms your appointment and helps us manage our diary fairly for all clients. The exact amount will be confirmed when you book.
The deposit amount is confirmed at the time of booking and is held to secure your appointment slot. It is fully transferable to a new appointment with 48+ hours' notice.
An initial consultation is complimentary and carries no obligation. A deposit is only required when a treatment appointment is booked.
7. Cancellation, rescheduling and late arrivals
We understand that life sometimes gets in the way of appointments. Our policy is designed to be fair to you and to the other clients waiting for an appointment.
Cancellation and rescheduling notice
- More than 48 hours' notice: your deposit can be moved to a rescheduled appointment, free of charge
- Less than 48 hours' notice: your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to rebook
- No-show (missed appointment without notice): the full deposit is forfeited, and we may decline future bookings or require payment in full upfront
Late arrivals
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten your appointment or reschedule it to avoid affecting other clients. Where rescheduling is required due to lateness, the cancellation policy above may apply.
Cancellations by us
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment — for example, due to illness or an unforeseen circumstance — we will contact you as soon as possible and offer you the first available alternative time. Any deposit you have paid will be honoured against the rescheduled appointment, or refunded in full if you prefer.
8. Payments and pricing
All prices on our website and in our price list are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
The price of your treatment will always be confirmed during your consultation, before you decide to proceed. Some advanced or multi-area treatments are priced "from" a base figure, with the final price depending on the volume of product used or the complexity of the case. You will never be charged a higher price than the one agreed at consultation.
Full payment for your treatment is due on the day of treatment. We accept cash, card payments on the day or bank transfer in advance (funds must be cleared prior to treatment). Prices may change from time to time; the price quoted at your consultation is the price you will pay for that treatment, even if our published prices change before your appointment.
9. Aftercare and follow-up
After your treatment, you will be given verbal and written aftercare instructions. Please follow them carefully — they exist to keep you safe and to give you the best possible result.
Where a treatment includes a complimentary review appointment (typically 2–3 weeks after injectable treatments), we will offer this at the time of treatment. The review allows us to check the result, answer any questions, and make small adjustments where appropriate.
If you have any concerns after your treatment — about the result, an unexpected reaction, or anything that doesn't feel right — please contact us straight away. We would always rather know.
10. Refunds and dissatisfaction
Aesthetic treatments are skilled medical procedures, not retail products, and results genuinely vary from person to person depending on anatomy, lifestyle and individual response. For this reason, we are not able to offer refunds on treatments that have been delivered correctly and as agreed at consultation.
If you are unhappy with the outcome of your treatment, please contact us promptly. We will arrange a review appointment to look at the result together, discuss what is happening, and where appropriate offer a top-up or revision. Most issues that arise can be resolved this way.
11. Gift vouchers and offers
Gift vouchers issued by ELM Aesthetics are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, are non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Vouchers can be used towards any treatment in our menu.
Any promotional offer is subject to the specific terms published with it (including dates, eligible treatments and any other conditions). Offers cannot be combined unless we say so in writing, and we reserve the right to amend or withdraw an offer at any time.
12. Photography and consent
We may take before-and-after photographs as part of your clinical record. These are stored confidentially and are only used to document your treatment.
Your photographs will never be used publicly — on our website, on social media, in marketing, or anywhere else — without your specific, written consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time, in writing, by contacting us.
13. Complaints
We take any concern about our service or your treatment very seriously. If something hasn't gone the way you hoped, please tell us — we always prefer to hear about it and try to put it right.
The first step is to contact us directly so we can listen, investigate and respond. You can email hello@elmaesthetics.co.uk or write to us at the clinic address.
14. Liability
We are a fully insured, regulated nurse-led clinic and we take patient safety extremely seriously. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to the above, our liability arising out of or in connection with any treatment, our website, or these Terms is limited to the amount you have paid us for the treatment in question.
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example, illness of the practitioner, power failure, or extreme weather).
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for any losses caused by your failure to follow the aftercare instructions given to you, by your failure to disclose relevant medical information, or by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
15. Intellectual property
The content on this website — including all text, images, photographs, logos, designs, graphics and layout — is the property of ELM Aesthetics or is used under licence. It is protected by UK and international copyright laws.
You may view, download and print parts of the website for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or otherwise use the content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
The ELM Aesthetics name, logo, and brand identity are trademarks of the business and may not be used without our consent.
16. Links to other websites
Our website may include links to third-party websites — for example, social media platforms or product manufacturers. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or for anything that happens on them. A link from our site is not an endorsement of any third-party product or service.
17. Privacy
How we collect, store and use your personal information is set out in our Privacy & Cookie Policy. By using our website or booking a treatment, you agree to our Privacy Policy as well as these Terms.
18. Complaints
We hope you never have cause to complain — but if something hasn’t met your expectations, please tell us. Contact Melody directly at hello@elmaesthetics.co.uk or on 0113 833 1810 and we will acknowledge your complaint promptly, investigate it fairly, and aim to provide a full response within 14 days. Wherever possible we will arrange a face-to-face review appointment so any clinical concern can be assessed properly.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from your use of our website or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were most recently changed. We encourage you to review them periodically. Where changes are significant, we will bring them to your attention.
