A note on how it works: filler adds, it does not take away. A bump is smoothed by building up around it, so the nose becomes straighter but not smaller. For most people that trade-off is very much worth it, because a straight profile reads as a smaller nose — but it is important to understand going in.
Safety first
The nose has an intricate blood supply with connections towards the eye, which is why this treatment carries more risk than most filler areas and why practitioner experience matters so much. Melody uses small volumes, appropriate technique and a thorough assessment of your history, including any previous nasal surgery, which increases the risk and may make treatment inadvisable.
What happens on the day
After consultation and assessment from several angles, numbing cream is applied and small amounts of firm filler are placed at specific points along the nose. The whole treatment takes around fifteen minutes and you see the result straight away. Mild swelling and redness settle within two to three days.
Honest limitations
Non-surgical rhinoplasty cannot make a nose smaller, narrow wide nostrils, or correct breathing problems. Very large bumps or significant deviation may be beyond what filler can address, and the honest recommendation may be surgical. Results are temporary, typically 12 to 18 months, and vary from person to person.

Can it make my nose smaller?
No. Filler adds volume to straighten and balance; it cannot reduce size. A straighter profile often reads as smaller, but the nose itself is not reduced.
Is it safe?
In experienced medical hands, with appropriate technique and small volumes, it has a good safety record — but the nose is a higher-risk area than most, which is why it should only be done by an experienced practitioner.
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream is applied and the filler contains anaesthetic. Most people find it very tolerable.
How long does it last?
